Caryn

I’m a mom of three. I know exactly how fast it goes.

The truth is, the best photographs don’t come from perfect posing. They come from real moments when you’re simply with your people.

For more than 15 years I’ve worked as a Cape Cod family and maternity photographer, and I know how fast this season goes!

My approach is simple: slow things down, and create a space where you can relax and forget the camera is even there.

No awkward posing. No rushing. Just you, your family, and images you’ll reach for again and again as your family grows.

Send me a quick message and we’ll find the perfect timing for your session, whether you’re expecting, welcoming a new baby, or simply wanting to capture this season with your family. A simple retainer holds your spot and kicks off the fun part: planning.

2 We plan everything together

Location, styling, timing, lighting. I’ll guide you through all of it. Most Cape Cod + South Shore maternity photography clients tell me the planning process itself made them feel excited instead of nervous. That’s exactly the point. By the time your session day arrives, everything is taken care of.

Relax, connect, and let me do the rest

Show up as you are. I’ll guide the direction, the light, and the moments you didn’t even know were happening.
Within a few weeks, your finished gallery arrives, ready to relive, share, and enjoy for years to come.

Everything clients usually ask before booking

1. How do I know what to wear for my session?
I guide every client through styling before their session, from color palettes to specific outfit ideas for everyone in the family. Most Boston and Cape Cod maternity photography clients tell me it was one of their favorite parts of the whole process.
2. Where do you shoot in Boston and Cape Cod?
As your Cape Cod family and maternity photographer, I’ll guide you to the right location based on your vision, the light, and what feels most like you. If you’re traveling or have a special spot in mind, travel sessions are available for a reasonable travel fee.
3. How soon will I receive my gallery?
Your fully edited gallery will be ready within two to three weeks of your session. If you order printed products, your hand-crafted pieces arrive in three to four weeks, made in Italy and the USA.
4. What if my kids don’t cooperate during the session?
Honestly? Expected, and completely fine. I create a relaxed, playful environment where kids can just be themselves, and some of the most beautiful moments happen exactly when they’re not “performing.” We’ll follow their lead, take breaks when needed, and keep everything low pressure.
5. How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you know you want a session, reach out. The earlier you reserve your date, the more flexibility you’ll have with timing, and the more runway we’ll have to plan every detail together so you can just look forward to it.
