IT’S TIME TO

take a leap

and connect with me to address your unique challenges

This opportunity for a photography mentorship is different because I will tailor-make it for you and how you want to grow.

As a newborn & family photographer and business owner since 2009, I grew and learned as my client families grew. As a result, 15 years and a whole decade-and-a-half later, I have a lot of experience to share with you!

The people who shaped and guided me along the way changed my life. I have so much joy in passing that on to others.

As a result, I can help you achieve your goals so that you can grow and become an artist who is seen and heard.

Whether it’s business skills, or how to create emotive family photography and everything in between, I’ve got you!

An incredible opportunity for

1:1 Mentoring

in New England will help you stand out from the crowds of photographers as you share your unique fingerprint.

There is so much more in each one of us that just needs to be given the tools (or even sometimes just permission!) to burst out and be seen.

My experience in photographing families from good friends to top sportsmen and women from the Boston Bruins, and Olympic Figure Skaters means I’ve seen it all!

Uniquely, each mentorship is tailor-made for you based on what you’d like to learn, and what you need to take your art and your business to the next level. One of my favorite things, and a skill I have exercised in this and other areas of my life, is to bring out the unique gifts in each person. They‘s‘re there! They just need to be given a chance to flourish and grow.

Photography Mentoring is available for family, maternity or newborn photography (or a remote business option) – we will discuss business and/or technical aspects and practice based on what you need. I specialized in Newborn Photography from the beginning and trained in safety and best practices. Consequently I have a lot of knowledge to pass on that will allow you to start your business off on the right foot, or to identify areas that could be holding you back. An obvious growth point from Newborn Photography is childhood and family photography!

This is what is included…

Connect through Zoom to set the foundation

This mentorship is about you. I’ll spend time listening to how you want to grow, what your dreams and hopes for your business are, and how I can best help you. That will drive and direct exactly what we focus on for your mentorship, and perhaps give you some things to work on to prepare for our time together.

On the day of the mentorship

We’ll have a customized schedule that covers your needs for your day. We’ll likely start with coffee to chat more in person and reassess how things have gone since we last connected. This is an opportunity to chat more in-depth, as well as get to know each other further!

Your mentorship session

I will select a model family to photograph at one of my MA locations, or a newborn family at the studio, and we will shoot side by side in order to achieve your goals, whether it be learning about lighting, composition, portfolio-building…whatever your focus needs to be.
If you would prefer to shoot in your own area, I will arrange a model session for your location. (Travel fees apply.)

Post-shoot dinner & editing

After the session we’ll head out for dinner (on me!) and go through your images together. We can edit a few samples and go over any last questions you may have.

FAQ

QUESTIONS

I currently shoot with a Nikon Z6II (a good balance between capabilities and file size!) having switched from the Nikon D750 about 2 years ago. While gear is a helpful factor when you shoot, you can make art with any camera!

Both in the studio and on location I use 35mm and 50mm lenses. On location I also use 85mm and in the studio a 105mm macro lens (for details).

I am on the South Shore in MA, about 35 min south of Boston (depending on traffic 😝) and shoot all over New England and the United States, including states like Georgia, Hawaii, Florida, and others.

I will choose a location based on something similar to what you will experience in your own business, and with your own clients.
If you would like me to travel to your location, travel fees apply. (Mentorship cost is $2,200 + airfare, hotel and car rental for 2 days)

No, I will take care of those details 🙂

A 50% deposit due to reserve your spot on the calendar. The balance of the fee is due 2 weeks before we meet.
