On a brisk spring evening, as the sun started setting, Colleen and Jared fully embraced their maternity session. Seeing the opportunity to capture the beauty and excitement of their journey into parenthood, they relaxed into it! The breeze rustled through groves and rolling hills, bringing that extra sense of serenity to the scene. Rich gold rays of the golden hour sun spotlighted the petals of little buttercup blooms, creating the most picturesque backdrop for this special occasion. Unsurprisingly, this is my absolute favorite time of day. You can’t beat the honey richness of the light! I couldn’t have dreamt up a more beautiful scene myself! World’s End, Hingham is the most magical place for a Boston maternity photographer! A total dream come true.

Joined for the first few minutes by their first “child”, a sweet little pup who had been eagerly waiting to become a big brother, Colleen and Jared savored these precious moments. Gratefully, grandma and grandpa taking care of their pup the rest of the time, allowed them to focus on this experience without distraction.

Meaningful touches…

There was a sentimental touch to the photo shoot as Colleen chose to wear her dress from their engagement photos. The dress symbolizes the enduring love and commitment she and Jared share, now extending to their eagerly anticipated baby girl!

Painted by the golden hour, casting a warm, gentle light, the surroundings became even more enchanting. Quiet, hidden spots amidst nature’s embrace provided the perfect backdrop. Lush grass and wildflowers added a touch of natural beauty to each frame, creating a serene and ethereal atmosphere for their maternity session.

As always, being a part of this special occasion was such an honor! Colleen, and her blossoming belly, was a joy to capture. Jared’s excitement and love for his growing family were evident in every moment and glance, reflecting the deep bond they share.

I’m grateful that I was able to capture these moments, preserving the anticipation and love that filled the air. It was a privilege to witness and document the beginning of their journey into parenthood, and what a treasure for their baby girl to see for herself one day!
