How does it all work?

I take pride in delivering an incredible experience to my clients from maternity, through newborn and all the way as the kids grow up! Undoubtedly, part of that is to make sure you have a smooth process from start to finish. With your choice of your home, or the perfect, epic outdoor location, or my Specialized Newborn Studio in Bridgewater, MA (just 3 min from Rt-24 & Rt-495), we can curate an absolutely amazing experience!

After sending you some quick info, I’ll connect with you by text, phone or video chat (whatever you’d prefer) so we can break the ice and I can answer any questions. Clients love to put a face & personality to a name before making plans!

Schedule a chat

Whenever you’re ready to move forward, let me know – we’ll book your date, and begin the fun part!

We’ll choose your location, and start your styling to look your absolute best! It really is fun, I promise!

We’ll meet at the Studio or the gorgeous location we chose, and spend time creating wonderful memories!

2-3 weeks after your session, your previews are ready in your gallery! From there I can help you with any prints or designs you need, should you choose. It’s all completely up to you.

Maternity Session FAQ’s

The ideal time is between 26-34 weeks when your belly is nicely rounded but before you become too uncomfortable.

It usually lasts around 1-2 hours, allowing for outfit changes and plenty of breaks.

I recommend wearing something comfortable, but “wow” that shows off your baby bump and makes you feel absolutely gorgeous. A long flowy dress or a fitted top and jeans are great options. I love helping my clients with styling and choosing their outfits, since it really makes a big difference to the end product – we’ll do it together!

Absolutely! Family photos with your baby bump are always a special addition to the session.

Get plenty of rest, drink lots of water, and wear comfortable shoes. We’ll take care of the rest!

I truly believe that making sure we use a spot that is a dream come true, or that already holds special memories for you, is important. We will work together on picking the absolutely perfect location.

You can expect to receive a good number of images from which to choose your edited photos from the session. There are options that include a different number of final images for your use.

Your final edited photos will be ready within about 3 weeks after the session.

Yes, I offer a variety of high-quality prints and products that you can order after the session, right from in your gallery!

You can contact me via phone (call or text), email or send a message via the contact form to schedule a session. I recommend booking as soon as you know you are pregnant, or know you want a maternity session,  to ensure availability.

Yes, you’re welcome to use the photos for any personal use.

Yes, a deposit is required along with a contract to secure your session date and time.

We understand that things happen, and we have a cancellation policy in place. Please be sure to read the contract carefully before signing it.

Yes, we offer discounts for repeat clients and referrals. These are outlined on the Newborn Session information page and in the pdf sent out to inquiring families.

Newborn Session FAQ’s

The ideal time is within the first two weeks of birth when your baby is still sleepy and curly, and I will be happy to explain more about the ins and outs of that timing.

It usually lasts around 2-3 hours, allowing for feedings, diaper changes, and plenty of cuddle time.

Your baby will likely be photographed in the nude or wrapped in soft fabrics to capture their natural beauty. If you arrive with baby’s diaper a little loose, that will prevent lines on the skin – and less to photoshop!

Absolutely! Family photos with your newborn are always a special addition to the session.

Plan to feed your baby upon arrival for the session (we have a cozy spot for you) and keep them warm and comfortable. We’ll take care of the rest!

I love working with my clients to create a unique session that is perfect for them! I’ll work with you before your session to create a personalized session that fits your style and preferences, including using a questionnaire for you to complete.

I recommend bringing extra diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes for yourself and your baby in case of any accidents.

Yes, we understand that newborns can be unpredictable, and we’re happy to reschedule if needed. Of course, normal newborn fussiness is par for the course, and we always work well with these babies to deliver a full gallery – no rescheduling necessary!

Yes, we take great care to ensure that your baby is comfortable and safe at all times. I personally am trained in newborn safety and have worked with newborns since 2009, as well as raising my 3 beautiful children.

Family Session FAQ’s

We recommend scheduling the session during evening golden hour (which is the hour before sunset) for the best lighting conditions.

It usually lasts around 1-2 hours, allowing for outfit changes and plenty of breaks. This can vary, though! I leave just enough time to ensure we make beautiful memories, but don’t drag it out too long for little ones (and sometimes their dads! LOL!)

We will work together to style your family in something special, but something YOU. What you wear has a big impact on the end result so this is an important piece – be prepared to devote some time and effort in choosing the perfect co-ordinating (but not matching!) outfits.

Absolutely! I can recommend a variety of locations or you can choose a place that has special meaning to your family.
I truly believe that making sure we use a spot that is a dream come true, or that already holds special memories for you, is important. We will work together on picking the absolutely perfect location.
I will take lighting into consideration, so the final choice will be something that is just right for your perfect session!

Family sessions are free and fun, full of adventure, and quiet moments. There is no posing!  It’s about the connection and bonds between you as a family, so we will plan on your enjoying each other with a little direction from me. It’s simple, casual, relaxed and full of precious moments.
