Home Newborn Session in Maine

I first met this precious family at about 6am on a freezing Fall morning in Duxbury, MA. No lie – it was 34 degrees and we were on the water!  A cozy blanket and warm hats made a world of difference but, yes, it was chilly! So I was absolutely thrilled when they asked me to continue their story with a home newborn session!

If you’d like to see more of their beautiful  maternity session, you can see it HERE.

On a much-warmer-than-usual winter morning, with snow on the ground, I was able to join them in their lovely, cozy home to document them and their brand new little man in a home newborn session. Who they are, how they do life, and how much they love.

Isn’t the love so beautiful and apparent?

In the end, it’s the knowledge that this family has gained a treasure that is  the bottom line of why I love what I do so much. Taylor said:

Oh my goodness, Caryn… I have countless favorites.

“You outdid yourself on these. To have these images of my boys means more than you know.
The biggest thank you for the gift of these images. It was so very good to see you… thank you for your kindness and sharing your talent in documenting two such monumental milestones for my family.

I’m so grateful for every opportunity I have to connect and celebrate these little lives! A home newborn session is such a beautiful way to tell your story in a place that is special to you, and where it all began…
