When the editor of SAFFA Mag approached me to ask if they could profile me in their magazine, my first thought was, “Why!?” lol
Truth is, we all have a story to tell. After 22 years in the US, I pray that my adventures will be an encouragement and a joy to those who happen to read them.
There is so much more to this story. Examples of God’s faithfulness in every situation, especially those that were unexpected to me. The assurance that nothing is a surprise to the Lord and that He has promised to bring good out of everything this world throws at me is a joy and hope that I will always hold on to!
There are so many fantastic things to be grateful for, and surprises to grow through. I hope this article did a little to show those things.
SAFFA Mag is a wonderful publication from the South African Chamber of Commerce, of which I am a proud member! I am grateful to still have a connection to a country and culture I love with all my heart. I pray that as I continue to grow and move forward in life I may be a part of forging ties between the US and the gorgeous land of South Africa!
