It has always been a dream of mine to travel and capture people’s hearts in their own special places just as I do at home. It’s so exciting to see those dreams come true! A family sunset session in the beautiful state of Hawaii is about the epitome of amazing adventures, I think! Or perhaps just the beginning of many to come, for both me, and this great family!

Last month I had the extraordinary opportunity to join a retreat in Hawaii and photograph this beautiful session on the Big Island. The 2-hour drive to South Point was well worth it for the breathtaking view and gorgeous light.

Most beautiful of all were the obviously close bonds in this stunning family. It was so delightful to watch them in quiet moments as they just enjoyed being together during this family sunset session. Quite obviously they get up to their fair share of mischief, too! Some of those expressions! 😂

Family is one of the most precious things in life, and spending quality time together is key to strengthening relationships and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Whether it’s paddle boarding, cooking up some gastric creations, going on adventures, or having a blast at a photoshoot, the time we spend with our family is precious and should be cherished – let’s make a point to make more of these moments together in 2023!

South Point, located on the southern tip of the Big Island of Hawaii, is a stunning location known for its breathtaking sunsets. With its stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, South Point is the perfect place and obvious choice to capture the magic of family time for this family who are so blessed to live nearby! This spot for a family sunset session made total sense to me 🙂 Especially for those. families living in Hilo, HI!

The magical quality of the sunset created the perfect backdrop. The warm, soft light flattered their skin tones and we enjoyed a cozy, intimate atmosphere – the perfect setting for documenting this sweet family’s love and this particular painting of a sunset was the cherry on top of a stunning day.

With its breathtaking views, warm light, and peaceful atmosphere, South Point, Hawaii, created an unforgettable experience for everyone involved!
