Undoubtedly, the tradition of an extended family vacation means that they make memories year after year! This summer, the C family (all the way from Georgia) decided to capture these memories forever in one of their favorite spots on Cape Cod. Somehow their search for a Family Photographer on Cape Cod led them to me and I couldn’t be more thrilled! It was such fun to work with them all and get to know them a little.

Somehow we managed to co-ordinate outfits for grandparents, and two families all in about a week! Incredibly, all from TJ Maxx (I mean, was there ever any doubt!?) and what they had in their closets. We worked with a beachy color palette and natural fabrics and I think they look amazing! One of the dresses from my client closet completed the look.

As always, it was too cute watching the kids splashing in the tidepools and the babies explore through the sandy patches. There’s just something of value…some sort of treasure… in seeing things through their eyes and at their level. When’s the last time you got up close and personal with a dead crab!? LOL.

Cape Cod Family Photographer

Topping all the perfection off was the most beautiful sunset and the promise of ice creams for everyone to celebrate the brilliant time they had together on the beach, and the knowledge that the summer days weren’t quite over yet. Happily, a few more days of memories to be made, and in the end, a gorgeous photographic story to mark this incredibly precious time in their family’s history. I kinda felt like I’d had a bit of a vacation myself as I left the beach. One of the perks of being a Family Photographer on Cape Cod! LOL!

I hope to become a part of their tradition and document this treasure, with the privilege of watching them grow and love again and again.
